- 7:30pm - " '69 The Sexual Revolution Musical" [+]
World Premier
'69 the sexual revolution musical
(PG13, no nudity) Are you hip to it?
Rehearsals are going REALLY well...the show goes from highlight to highlight, and the cast (Gary Cash, Courtney Freed, Susannah Mars, Steven Nash, and Tom Stewart) has wonderful, playful chemistry. Wait ‘til you see Susannah Mars channel Tina Turner in the Aphrodisiacs number...is it groovy? You bet your sweet bippy!
‘69—the sexual revolution musical—inspired by the unintentional comedy of 1969's best-seller Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex (But Were Afraid to Ask). 21 new songs by composers Marv Ross, Michael Allen Harrison, Broadway’s Karl Mansfield, and Stephen Alexander. '69 - The Sexual Revolution Musical (once called Everything You Wanted To Know About Sex*) is a musical about a time in our lives when self help books were all the rage - remember I'm Okay-You're Okay?, Sensuous Woman?, Sex Without Guilt?, Everything You Wanted To Know About Sex*? And even...Coffee,Tea, or Me? (okay, that wasn't a self help book, but it was fun!) triangle productions! is proud to present a brand new musical about the sexual revolution. It's 1969 when man first walked on the moon, when a farm turned into Woodstock and when Laugh-In was on TV. Come back to those times and enjoy a musical with book/lyrics by Donnie and music/lyrics by Marv Ross, Karl Mansfield, Michael Allen Harrison and Stephen Alexander. We guarantee we're going to "Sock It To YOU!" So, if you are up to wearing flowers in your hair and love beads...and want to admit that you bought a pet rock...come and swing with Susannah Mars, Steven Nash and Courtney Freed in: '69 - the sexual revolution musical. A lyric from one of the songs in the show: Actor #3/Lady (enters store, sees Actor #1/proprietor) Can you help me? I need a potion. Maybe some pills? Maybe a lotion? I got a friend…ok, we’re lovers. He’s got no...passion...under the covers. So, I’d like to buy some instant emotion If you know what I mean. Yes, I need a real love potion. Real love potion, real love potion, real love potion...
