When were the times when everything seemed attainable; times when it seemed that the sun shone brighter and the sky was more blue? This is the palate we used to explore some of the best songwriting of our times. This album gives you the opportunity to remember love in all it's simplicity and excitement.

Where were you when you first heard Dionne Warwick and Burt Bacharach reflect on love? It may have been the backdrop of your first date or, like me, the first time I saw my parents dance together. 'WALK ON BY' and 'THE LOOK OF LOVE' speak to the very essence of love lived and lost.

Michael's original song, 'I BREATHE', gives meaning to the sweetness of love being a breath away. Whether you're listening to 'EASY TO BE HARD' and it's cry to humanity not to be so heartless toward one another, or Nina Simone's plea to really look at life and all it's beauty in 'FEELIN' GOOD', these are the times of our lives. I would love to acknowledge all of the friends and family who have accompanied us through the good times and the hard times with a true sense of peace, calm and HOPE. In this, the hardest of times, we know that hope is a necessity for change and love a necessity of hope. It is our hope that as you experience change you continue to live and love. IT'S EASY. As Bacharach wrote: 'What the world needs now is love!'

To Michael for giving music to our friendship, to Margaret, my mother for showing me how to live and most importantly, to Karl, my husband for giving his love to me so completely!
