Michael has created a new CD, "Oregon My Oregon - 150 Years", exclusively for the 2009 Portland Ornament (tm) featuring songs from around Oregon, old favorites, and new original songs from Michael.

Dedicated in 1938, the Capitol building in Salem's Willamette Valley is a majestic reminder of the kind of perseverance and fortitude that has characterized this great state from its infancy. A shining beacon atop the seat of government at nearly 45 feet tall and 8.5 tons, the "Golden Pioneer" stands for all that is mighty and memorable about the nearly 100,000 square miles that comprises Oregon. The "Pioneer" beckons to all who reside in, visit, and explore tha land that it proudly surveys.
